Our Story
Mission Light of Life was founded with a powerful vision: to address both the physical and spiritual needs of the people of Haiti. Founded by Marie Gladys Mrytil and Pastors Samuel and Lisa Estiverne, the organization officially became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in California in 2022.
What began as a modest mission in Haiti has flourished into an impactful organization that partners with local churches across communities. Through these partnerships, we help people experience the transformative power of the Gospel in tangible, meaningful ways.
What We Believe
Our Foundation
We believe in one eternal God, the perfect and holy Creator of all things, and in Jesus Christ - fully divine and fully human - who died for our salvation and rose on the third day.
Scripture & Salvation
We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word and our ultimate authority. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone, by God's grace, not through our own efforts.
Church & Community
We believe the Church comprises all who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and is called to be a transformative presence in the world, serving as salt and light.
